This week we had our final prep meeting with the poly-party unions to finalize non-monetary proposals based on your priorities submitted to the union.
A protocol agreement has been drafted and will be the first thing addressed in our meeting with the employer next week. Following that we will begin with housekeeping matters and language proposals before addressing monetary proposals.
Recognizing we have a few contentious issues, we are hopeful that bargaining will be done in a timely fashion.
